A Ride to Remember

an unforgettable 3-day cycling event
across the state of South Carolina

Calling all bicyclists looking for a memorable challenge-- this ride is for you!

A Ride to Remember is a 3-day, 260+ mile fundraising ride for the Alzheimer’s Association - South Carolina Chapter. The cross-state route begins in the Upstate and ends at the South Carolina coast.

By participating in A Ride to Remember, you will be joining a growing movement to end Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s is a progressive, and fatal brain disease that destroys brain cells, causing memory loss and problems with thinking and behavior. There are currently an estimated 80,000 South Carolinians living with this disease, and that number is poised to skyrocket as our baby boomers age.

While there is currently no known cure for Alzheimer’s disease, the Alzheimer’s Association is part of an accelerating worldwide effort to find better ways to treat the disease, delay its onset, or prevent it from developing.

Join us as we pedal towards our vision of "A world without Alzheimer’s."

Donate online now by selecting "Sponsor a Rider" or "General Donation" from the menu on the left. You may also mail your donations to:

Alzheimer's Association
Attn: A Ride To Remember
2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130
Charleston, SC 29407

If mailing your donation, please be sure to indicate on the check "RTR" and the name of the rider you are supporting. For security purposes, please do not mail cash.

Thank you for your support of the Alzheimer's Association! Funds raised through A Ride to Remember primarily remain local, providing a helpline staffed 24/7, respite assistance for families, educational programs, literature, newsletters, support groups, and other services free of charge. A portion of all money raised also goes to support research into the cause of and potential cures for Alzheimer's disease.
